Joe Ingles played through achilles soreness on Sunday and hit 3-of-6 shots and two 3-pointers for nine points, five rebounds and two assists in 24 minutes.
He's not exactly crushing it this season but might be worth a look with the Jazz playing four times in the upcoming week.
Draymond Green flirted with a poor man's triple-double in Sunday's win over the Raptors, tallying 10 points, 10 assists, nine rebounds, two triples, one block and three turnovers across 29 minutes.
The points, boards and dimes all accounted for season-highs for Green, so the next step for him is to improve the shooting (he went 3-of-8 from the floor tonight). It'll be a bit before Dray truly rounds into form after missing all of training camp and the preseason, so we'd recommend fantasy managers try and stay patient with him. He's not going to be a guy who will score a lot of points, but his ability to rack up the dimes and defensive stats gives him top-60 upside.
Norman Powell got another start on Sunday but was held to just nine points on 3-of-8 shooting in a loss to the Warriors.
Powell didn't bring much else to the stat sheet while he was out there, offering just one 3-pointer, three rebounds, one steal and an unfortunate three turnovers — and while he got the start — he was not a part of the closing group and saw just 22 minutes of floor time. He's been in a terrible shooting slump this season, connecting on just 35.8% of his FGA, and all his numbers are down from last year's breakout season. He's a career 45.4% shooter, so he should break out of his funk at some point, but it'll be tough for him to meet expectations if he's only averaging 23.3 minutes a night.
OG Anunoby hit 4-of-12 shots for 10 points, two triples, six rebounds, one assist, two steals, one block and one turnover across 38 minutes on Sunday.
This is pretty much what you can expect from Anunoby on most nights, but he will have occasional scoring outbursts. He's been a top-90 guy in 9-cat leagues with averages of 12.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.6 treys, 1.9 steals, 0.6 blocks and 1.6 turnovers per game on 43% shooting from the field and 69% from the stripe.
Devin Vassell played just 10 minutes on Sunday in a loss to the Timberwolves due to a knee injury.
Vassell scored no points, missing the two field goals he attempted, and recorded just two rebounds and a steal in his 10 minutes. Gregg Popovich said Vassell "banged knees", and there was no indication of how serious the injury might be. He only said that Vassell couldn't return to the game on Sunday. Check back for updates.
Ricky Rubio hit 2-of-5 shots, 0-of-1 3-pointers and 4-of-4 free throws for eight points, six assists, two rebounds and three steals with no turnovers in a win over the Spurs.
Rubio played just 22 minutes, but grabbed three steals, his second-most of the season. Rubio’s not making nearly the impact he did a season ago, but for those who’ve held onto rostering him, there’s hope — especially with Towns returning to the lineup. Plus, his defensive stats are hard to replace.
Josh Okogie hit 3-of-5 shots, 0-of-2 3-pointers and 0-of-2 free throws for six points, four rebounds and one block with one turnover in a win over the Spurs.
Okogie played just 20 minutes due to a minutes restriction in his first game back since December 27, when he suffered from a hamstring injury. He made a minimal impact on Sunday, and it’s unclear where he’ll fit in the rotation with rookie Anthony Edwards, Jarrett Culver, and Malik Beasely. It’s something to monitor going forward.
Lonnie Walker IV hit 9-of-19 shots, 3-of-7 3-pointers and 4-of-6 free throws for 25 points, four assists, three rebounds, one steal and one block with two turnovers in a loss to the Timberwolves.
Walker exploded for the second-highest point total of his career in 30 minutes. He stepped up big in the absence of DeMar DeRozan (personal), but didn’t play in the final three minutes after suffering from cramps, according to head coach Gregg Popovich. He grabbed near his hamstring, and was subbed out.
Trey Lyles hit 2-of-4 shots, 0-of-1 3-pointers and 1-of-2 free throws for five points, two assists, and 10 rebounds with no turnovers in a loss to the Timberwolves.
Lyles started in place of DeMar DeRozan (personal) and didn’t do a ton despite recording season-highs in points and rebounds in 35 minutes. He posted no defensive stats. You can keep him on the waiver wire for now.
Keldon Johnson hit 1-of-6 shots, 0-of-2 3-pointers and 1-of-2 free throws for three points, one assist, seven rebounds, one steal and three blocks with two turnovers in a loss to the Timberwolves.
This wasn’t Johnson’s best game, but it was a nice defensive fantasy performance, featuring three blocks and a steal. He’s one of the season’s highest fantasy risers, jumping from No. 185 last season in 9-cat leagues to No. 63.
Ed Davis hit 3-of-3 shots for six points, six rebounds and two steals with no turnovers in a win over the Spurs.
Davis started in place of Karl-Anthony Towns (rest), and produced a fine line. But he was outplayed by Naz Reid, who scored 11 points with seven rebounds and a block. Reid also closed the win against San Antonio, tallying 29 minutes to Davis’s 18. Reid remains the better fantasy option.
John Wall posted a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double in Sunday's blowout loss to the Lakers.
Wall added two triples, five assists, one steal and two blocks in his 34 minutes of floor time, but he also committed an unfortunate four turnovers and shot just 5-of-14 from the field. "Two things for us were the turnovers and transition," head coach Stephen Silas noted after the 18-point loss. "The transition doesn't have anything to do with us being together for a day, a month, or a year. Run back." Turnovers were a problem for Houston tonight, and as a result, they conceded 32 fastbreak points. James Harden committed a team-high seven turnovers to go with 20 points (7-of-14 FG, 4-of-5 FT), two treys, six boards, nine dimes and two blocks over 38 minutes.
Eric Gordon had a miserable game on Sunday, going 1-of-4 from the field and 2-of-4 from the stripe for four points, two rebounds, one assist and four turnovers in 22 minutes off the bench.
EG was great in his first four games of the season, but he's been in an awful rut over the past two, hitting just 33.3% of his shot attempts while being held to single digits in the scoring department. He should be able to snap out of the shooting funk relatively soon, but don't expect him to be the top-30 guy he was through the first four games of the year. He's more of a low-end, 3-point specialist in deep leagues.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (left ankle) scored seven points on 3-of-9 shooting Sunday, to go with four rebounds, three assists, one 3-pointer, two steals and two turnovers in 22 minutes.
KCP missed the past four games, but he was back in the starting lineup tonight, although he was far from impressive while out there. Wesley Matthews started the previous game, but he picked up a DNP-CD with KCP back in action. Kyle Kuzma had started the other three games sans Caldwell-Pope, but he was back with the second unit tonight and finished with 13 points, three triples, two rebounds, one assist, one block and three turnovers in 24 minutes.
Montrezl Harrell went 7-of-11 from the field and 2-of-2 from the line on his way to 16 points in 23 minutes off the bench in a blowout win over the Rockets on Sunday.
Harrell added eight rebounds, one steal, one block and two turnovers while he was out there, and he's now blocked a shot in back-to-back games, which is a great sign after he went six straight games without a single swat. He was able to pad his stats a bit during garbage time in today's blowout, but he's now had two solid games in a row, so hopefully, this is a sign that he's ready to start rolling again.
Ben McLemore (ankle) saw 17 minutes off the bench on Sunday and finished with six points (2-of-6 FG), two triples, one rebound, one assist and two turnovers.
He's too inconsistent and not a large enough part of the rotation to trust in most settings. Leave him on the wire.
LeBron James scored 18 points on 7-of-15 shooting (3-of-6 FT) Sunday, to go with one 3-pointer, seven rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block and two turnovers across 30 minutes in a blowout win over the Rockets.
“Through the first 10 games I think we’ve played B, B-plus basketball and that is absolutely OK,” James said prior to Sunday's game. “We are a team that added basically five new pieces to the rotation, and we’re still learning each other and getting accustomed to different lineups and playing with different guys. But I think through the first 10 games we’ve played pretty good basketball." If they were playing at a "B-plus" level in the previous 10 games, L.A. was in A-plus mode for tonight's thrashing of the Rockets. King James hasn't missed a game yet, but we'd expect him to be listed as questionable for Tuesday's rematch, which actually means probable.
DeAndre Jordan saw just 10 minutes off the bench in Sunday's loss to the Thunder, registering four points, one rebound and two turnovers.
The 32-year-old Jordan started the first seven games of the season in Brooklyn, but since getting sent to the second unit he's only averaging minutes in the low-teens, and he was the 8th man in the rotation today. He may get a few spot-starts throughout the year when the right matchup presents itself, but Jarrett Allen has won the position battle here, and he's the better big to roster in Brooklyn. JA notched his fifth double-double of the season today, finishing with 15 points, 10 rebounds, one assist, one block and three turnovers in 33 minutes.
Joe Harris was back in the starting unit on Sunday, but was held to just 10 points on 4-of-12 shooting.
Harris added two triples, five rebounds, three assists and two turnovers in his 32 minutes of floor time, but this was a bit disappointing given how much opportunity was before him with Kyrie Irving (personal) still out. Bruce Brown returned to the bench with Harris back in the first unit, and Brown finished with just one rebound and one turnover across five minutes.
Jeff Green was quiet through 25 minutes as a starter on Sunday, scoring just four points on 2-of-8 shooting to go with four rebounds, one assist and one steal in a loss to the Thunder.
Green has been starting for the Nets over the past four games, but he hasn't done much while he's been out there with averages of just 7.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and not much else on 43.5% shooting. He belongs on the waiver wire in the vast majority of leagues.
