Richaun Holmes (ankle) wasn't on the injury report for the Kings and will play on Friday vs the Raptors.

Jan 08   6:02 PM

Holmes tweaked an ankle on Wednesday but it seems to be minor as he'll be suiting up against Toronto. He's currently averaging points and 8.4 rebounds for Sacramento.

Collin Sexton (sprained left ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game in Milwaukee.

Jan 08   6:02 PM

Sexton was on pace to play Thursday before being scratched at the last minute. Barring a setback prior to Saturday's game, then, it seems the Cavs will welcome back their lead guard to bolster their injury-riddled backcourt. Given the questionable tag and his last-minute absence on Thursday, though, fantasy managers should confirm his status on Saturday just in case.

Nerlens Noel (left ankle, left knee) is available vs. the Thunder on Friday.

Jan 08   6:02 PM

He gets to play the 'revenge narrative' card tonight, though his minutes may not be robust due to the recent injuries and the emergence of Mitchell Robinson as one of coach Tom Thibodeau's high-minute starters.

Bruno Fernando (left hip soreness) is probable for Saturday's game against the Hornets.

Jan 08   5:27 PM

Fernando will likely be a game-time decision for the Hawks on Saturday, though he doesn't add any fantasy value at the moment playing behind Clint Capela and John Collins.

Onyeka Okongwu (left foot inflammation; sesamoid bone) won't play vs. the Hornets on Saturday.

Jan 08   5:27 PM

Okongwu recently made it through some 3-on-3 work during practice, but he obviously has some work to do in his rehab before getting cleared for game action.

Ben McLemore (conditioning) is available to play vs. the Magic on Friday.

Jan 08   5:27 PM

McLemore began the season in self-isolation and he's been slow to reclaim game conditioning, but it sounds like he's finally ready to go. As long as Houston's backcourt is healthy it's hard to see McLemore helping fantasy GMs in season-long formats, but he does give Houston some welcome 3-point shooting to spread the court.

Anthony Davis (strained adductor) is questionable for Friday's game vs. Chicago.

Jan 08   5:27 PM

AD and LeBron James (sprained ankle) are both on the injury report. It's the same situation that played out on Thursday, when both guys were active, but they could be game-time decisions in the second half of this back-to-back set. Check back closer to tip-off before committing to the Lakers' stars -- there's a reason late-lock lineups exist for DFS.

Kentavious Caldwell--Pope (sprained left ankle) is questionable to play vs. the Bulls on Friday.

Jan 08   5:27 PM

KCP was a game-time decision on Thursday before ultimately being ruled out, so we may not learn his status until just prior to tip-off. Kyle Kuzma should pick up extra minutes if KCP is unable to suit up in the second half of this back-to-back.

Nico Melli (personal) is available for Friday vs. the Hornets.

Jan 08   2:27 PM

He's back after two games away from the team. Melli is averaging 11.8 minutes per game this season and hasn't done much with them.

Nerlens Noel (left ankle sprain, left knee soreness) is now probable for Friday vs. the Thunder.

Jan 08   2:27 PM

Mitchell Robinson is breaking out while Noel has yet to play more than 18 minutes this season. Plus, the Knicks will be getting Taj Gibson on their roster shortly. Noel's fantasy arrow is pointing down.

J.J. Redick (right knee contusion) is probable for Friday vs. the Hornets.

Jan 08   2:27 PM

Redick left Wednesday's game early and was held out of Thursday's practice, but it sounds like it was just a precaution. He's been ice cold from beyond the arc since hitting six triples in the season opener with a total of three 3-pointers over his last seven games. He's a poor fantasy option.

Moe Harkless (left forearm contusion) is questionable for Saturday vs. the Wizards.

Jan 08   2:27 PM

He has been replaced by Kelly Olynyk in the rotation anyways.

Doug McDermott (left ankle) practiced Friday and is on track to play on Saturday vs. the Suns.

Jan 08   1:46 PM

He tweaked his ankle in Wednesday's game but the issue is considered very minor. McDermott will be more involved with the offense with T.J. Warren (foot) out indefinitely but Justin Holiday is the much better waiver-wire add.

Aleksej Pokusevski (concussion) is available for Friday vs. the Knicks.

Jan 08   1:46 PM

The 7-footer is an extremely exciting rookie with his blend of playmaking, handles and defensive ability, but hasn't found his shot just yet. He's a fun dynasty stash and a player to monitor in deeper leagues.

Taj Gibson will not make his season debut on Friday vs. the Thunder.

Jan 08   1:46 PM

There's a chance he could be available for Sunday vs. the Nuggets, assuming he's already going through protocols. It's going to be interesting to see if his arrival dents the fantasy value of Mitchell Robinson but Nerlens Noel is the one who should be very worried.

Carsen Edwards (health and safety protocols) was not a close contact trace and will be available for Friday.

Jan 08   11:21 AM

As for Grant Williams, Robert Williams and Tristan Thompson, they are facing a 7-day quarantine. Even with the Celtics super thin this week, there's no guarantee Edwards sees the floor.

Pacers coach Nate Bjorkgren said T.J. Warren (stress fracture) underwent successful surgery on January 5th.

Jan 08   11:21 AM

"When you see him next, he’s going to be ready," Bjorkgren said. "He’s going to be a different man." The Pacers have not provided a timetable yet and he's listed as out indefinitely, but it makes sense for fantasy managers to keep him stashed away in an I.R. slot. Justin Holiday has been a mid-round value for the last two weeks and is worth a roster spot in category leagues.

Javonte Green (health and safety protocols) is no longer on the injury report.

Jan 08   11:21 AM

He's likely looking at a handful of minutes this week as well, as Grant Williams, Tristan Thompson and Robert Williams are all quarantined for at least a week. He's still not worth a look in most fantasy leagues, to be clear.

Grant Williams will be quarantined for a minimum of seven days due to health and safety protocols.

Jan 08   10:58 AM

Paul Millsap couldn't buy a bucket in Thursday's overtime loss to the Mavericks, going 1-of-6 from the field on his way to five points, five rebounds, four assists, one steal and two turnovers in 29 minutes.

Jan 08   3:06 AM

Millsap got most of his points at the line tonight, going 3-of-3 from the stripe, but this was quite the disappointing stat line -- and aside from his 15-point performance on New Year's Day, he hasn't done much to warrant attention in standard settings. JaMychal Green wasn't much better tonight, going 4-of-10 from the floor on his way to 10 points, nine rebounds, two triples and three turnovers in 19 minutes off the bench; and Will Barton also struggled with just eight points, seven rebounds, two triples, two assists, one steals and one turnover in 34 minutes.
