Dennis Smith Jr. (left quad) is available for Wednesday vs. the Jazz.
Being available doesn't mean he will play, and he's currently miles off the fantasy radar. It hasn't helped his case that Austin Rivers and Immanuel Quickley have been playing well.
Moe Harkless (left forearm contusion) will not play on Wednesday vs. Boston.
This won't impact the rotation much with Kelly Olynyk playing so well for Miami.
Bogdan Bogdanovic (right ankle) is available vs. the Hornets on Wednesday.
This was the expectation, as Bogdan carried a probable tag after practicing on Tuesday. Bogdan is in a really bad slump right now but Charlotte is about as good of a matchup as you can get.
John Konchar won't play on Thursday against the Cavaliers due to an ankle injury.
Konchar's role has grown since Ja Morant's injury, but now he'll miss his second game in a row with the ankle injury. On Tuesday, the Grizzlies gave Desmond Bane 25 minutes off the bench, and De'Anthony Melton and Grayson Allen 16 minutes each. Bane is the better choice to look at rostering in deeper leagues.
Marcus Morris (right knee soreness) is questionable for Wednesday vs. the Warriors.
This is an upgrade as Morris has usually been listed as "out" on previous reports. If he's cleared to make his season debut, we can expect restrictions after so much time on the shelf. He's just a low-end pickup but will have some solid streamer value when the Clippers rest their studs.
Rodions Kurucs (left ankle) is questionable for Thursday vs. the 76ers.
Kurucs has played a total of 12 minutes this season. It remains to be seen if Steve Nash will give him a chance with Kevin Durant (medical protocols) but fantasy managers can comfortably monitor him from the waiver wire as Taurean Prince appears to be next in line.
Nick Richards (health and safety protocols) will not play on Wednesday vs. the Hawks.
The 42nd overall pick in the draft has played a combined 10 minutes all season despite an injury to Cody Zeller.
Trey Burke will miss the Mavericks' game on Thursday against the Nuggets due to an illness.
It's unclear how much time Burke will miss, but in the interim, expect Jalen Brunson to see an uptick in minutes. Tyrell Terry, whose only seen 15 minutes across three games this season, could also fill spot minutes, but he should be left on the waiver wire for now.
Ty Jerome won't play on Wednesday against the Pelicans due to an ankle sprain.
Jerome hasn't played a game for the Thunder, and is unlikely to play a significant factor in fantasy leagues.
Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle said that he can see Tim Hardaway Jr. starting again this season after he came off the bench on Monday.
Carlisle tried to shake the Mavs' early-season stumbles by moving Hardaway Jr.'s scoring to the second rotation, and it paid off. He scored 30 points on 11-of-14 shooting and still played 31 minutes in the win. The move to the bench may not be permanent, though. "He really wants to find a home here in Dallas," Carlisle said. "I think he's willing to do whatever. ... Do I see him starting other games this season? Yeah, I do. I don't know exactly when or where, but if he doesn't start, he'll be in there quick."
Jarrell Brantley is not with the Jazz on Wednesday for their game against the Knicks.
Brantley has not appeared in a game this season, and isn't part of the rotation.
Derrick Favors (knee) is probable to play on Wednesday against the Knicks.
Favors also played on Tuesday, and scored just two points with four rebounds and a block in 13 minutes.
Alec Burks is in a walking boot because of an ankle sprain, and will be re-evaluated in 7-to-10 days.
Burks hasn't played a game since December 27, and now he'll miss minimally another week. He'd been off to a strong start for the Knicks, sinking 10 3-pointers in three games, averaging 21 points on 53.1% shooting. Without Burks, New York will continue to roll with heavier minutes for RJ Barrett, Austin Rivers and Reggie Bullock. With the team finding success, it's unclear how Burks' role will change when he returns.
Michael Carter-Williams' foot injury is a mild bone bruise and sprained ligament. His return will depend on how he responds to treatment.
With Evan Fournier out to back spasms, Carter-Williams has been filling in his starting role, but hasn't found much success, scoring just four points on 2-of-15 shooting with four assists and 10 rebounds in his last two games. Now he'll miss some time, leaving added opportunities for Terrence Ross, who may join the starting unit, and rookie Cole Anthony.
Zach LaVine led a third-quarter Bulls comeback on Tuesday, finishing the game with 18 points, nine assists, four rebounds and two blocks and a win.
LaVine struggled to make shots, going just 6-of-18 on field goal attempts and 3-of-10 from deep. But all three of his 3-pointers came in the second half including a 27-footer with 10.7 seconds left that helped Chicago close out the Blazers. It wasn't quite the explosive game as LaVine had on Sunday, but it had late-game excitement and the guard managed to have a good fantasy showing in the process.
Robert Covington had a season-high 14 points on Tuesday, hitting 5-of-10 shots and four triples in the loss.
Through eight games, RoCo is shooting an awful 28% from beyond the arc on 4.2 attempts per game. This is not the efficiency the Blazers or Covington's fantasy managers were expecting, especially for two first-rounders, but he took a step forward on Tuesday. The 14 points and four made triples are both season bests, so hopefully the 3-and-D wing can build off this game.
LaMarcus Aldridge (left knee soreness) posted a line of 14 points (6-of-16 FGs), six rebounds, two assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in a win over the Clippers.
Aldridge was limited to 25 minutes Tuesday night, which makes sense given the fact that he missed the three games prior. The question now is how much will his minutes increase moving forward, as Aldridge hasn’t played more than 29 minutes in a game this season. He averaged just over 33 minutes per night last season, but those games were played before the Spurs committed to playing more “small” lineups (Aldridge didn't play in the bubble). That doesn’t bode well for Aldridge when it comes to his fantasy value, especially in standard leagues.
Dejounte Murray played 37 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Clippers, tallying 21 points (9-of-18 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), five rebounds, five assists, two steals and two 3-pointers.
Coming off of his worst game of the season, Murray bounced back in a big way as the Spurs held off the Clippers in Los Angeles. The fourth-year point guard shot 1-of-13 from the field in Sunday’s loss to the Jazz, but he did a much better job of not only creating better looks but knocking them down as well. Murray isn’t the most consistent shooter, but he does enough across the board to ensure top-100 value in both 8- and 9-cat formats.
C.J. McCollum knocked down 10-of-21 shots and 6-of-14 from three to score a team-high 26 points on Tuesday night.
McCollum had the hot hand for the Blazers on Tuesday, adding five rebounds, four assists and three steals in 36 minutes. He committed a team-worst five turnovers and failed to get to the line for the first time in eight contests. But he's now had three swipes in three games this season and is averaging 1.7 steals per game and is boasting ridiculous numbers early on to the tune of 28 points, 5.7 assists and 4.7 3-pointers a night, ranking him sixth among all players in 9-cat.
Moving back to the bench, Jakob Poeltl accounted for two points (1-of-1 FGs), six rebounds, three assists and two steals in 19 minutes Tuesday vs. the Clippers.
With LaMarcus Aldridge (knee) making his return after missing the three games prior, Poeltl moved back to the second unit. The lack of scoring makes him a non-option in standard leagues, and Poeltl isn't a must-have in deeper formats either. He should be left on the waiver wire at this point.
