P.J. Dozier (right hamstring strain) will not play in Sunday's game against the Jazz.
Dozier will miss a third straight game due to the hamstring issue, which he suffered during Monday's game against the Mavericks. Michael Porter Jr. and Will Barton will absorb many of the minutes that would have gone the versatile Dozier's way.
Lamar Stevens (right abdominal strain) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Timberwolves.
Stevens may be able to pick up a few minutes when healthy, but not enough to make him a player worth rostering in any fantasy league.
Jamal Murray (hip, shoulder) is probable to play on Sunday against the Jazz.
It's been a minor-injury-filled season for Murray, who continues to play through it all. He says he has a bruise on his elbow and his glute, and he has a shoulder sprain. We keep suggesting that the Nuggets sit him, but clearly, that isn't happening anytime soon. He still ranks as the No. 77 player in 9-cat leagues.
Andre Iguodala (neck spasms) will play on Saturday against the Kings.
Iguodala missed Thursday's game with the injury, so it's good to see he's back so quick. He'll return alongside Jimmy Butler (medical protocol) as the Heat slowly start looking like themselves again. Iguodala isn't ranked in the top-200 of 9-cat leagues.
Gabe Vincent (ankle soreness) is available to play in Saturday's game vs. the Kings.
Vincent has been listed on the injury report consistently, and in most instances he's been able to play. He will get rotation minutes Saturday night, as both Avery Bradley and Goran Dragic remain out. But with Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro both cleared, Vincent's fantasy value decreases significantly.
Udonis Haslem (personal) is available to play in Saturday's game against the Kings.
"Mr. 305" is available, but it is highly unlikely that Haslem will get any playing time. His value to the Heat roster far outweighs his fantasy value, so leave him on the waiver wire.
Jordan Poole will play with the Warriors' G-League affiliate in the bubble in Orlando.
Poole has been on the outside looking in when it comes to the Warriors' rotation this season, so it makes sense that he would be sent to Orlando. He'll get consistent playing time, while also giving Warriors' decision-makers the opportunity to evaluate how (or if) Poole fits into the franchise's future. For his part, Poole is taking a positive approach. "It’s an amazing opportunity. I get to play some games. I’m looking forward to it," Poole said according to NBC Sports Bay Area.
Jontay Porter (right knee soreness) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Spurs.
Porter, who underwent a second surgery to repair a torn ACL during the offseason, has yet to appear in a game this season. There's no need to stash him in an IL spot.
Killian Tillie (left foot soreness) will not play in Saturday's game against the Spurs.
Tillie, who was dealing with a hamstring injury at the time that the Grizzlies' season was put on pause, is now limited by a foot injury. He isn't a viable fantasy option when healthy, so this news changes nothing in that regard.
Terrance Ferguson is out on Sunday against the Pacers due to health and safety protocols.
This is Ferguson's second stint in the medical protocols this month. He was cleared on January 14th but has only logged five minutes in one game since. His absence shouldn't change much for fantasy managers.
Sean McDermott (left shoulder soreness) will not be available for Saturday's game against the Spurs.
McDermott isn't a player worth rostering in any fantasy format, so this news has no impact.
Mike Scott won't play on Sunday against the Pacers with a knee injury.
Scott's appeared in just three games this month and continues to miss time with knee swelling. He holds little fantasy value for now.
Justise Winslow (left hip displacement recovery) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Spurs.
Winslow has yet to appear in a game this season, and there is no word from the team regarding a timeline. Leave him on the waiver wire.
Hawks head coach Lloyd Pierce says Bogdan Bogdanovic's healing is going "extremely well," and the guard's practicing passing and free throw shooting in a brace.
This is the first update we've gotten since news that Bogdanovic would miss several weeks to a fracture in his knee starting January 12th. He has a ways to go until he's back on the court, but progress is progress.
Rui Hachimura says "it's been hard to get my mind right" after missing more than two weeks of play with COVID-19.
Hachimura returned on Friday night, scoring just nine points on 3-of-9 shooting with five boards in 24 minutes. It wasn't a bad night from the second-year forward, especially in just his first game back in 18 days. But Hachimura's words speak to how players are attempting to recover from the virus. It may take some time for him to get back to his full self mentally and physically.
Rookie Theo Maledon has started three games, and after a breakout performance head coach Mark Daigneault says he wants to find the point guard's ceiling.
Maledon scored a career-best 24 points on nine field goals on Friday, thriving in the absence of George Hill (thumb). “Theo’s a point guard 100% but his shooting allows him to play off the ball and it helps the versatility of the team," Daigneault said. "He’s got great poise. He’s wise beyond his years. We want to make sure to discover where his ceiling is as a player.” In three starts, Maledon is averaging 13.7 points on 60.9% shooting from the field and 64.7% shooting from range (11-of-17) with 4.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 0.7 steals to 1.3 turnovers in 28.3 minutes.
With Wendell Carter Jr. out for a few weeks, Billy Donovan says he might have to work Cristiano Felicio into his center rotation.
"If you look at Wendell's injury and he and Gaff (Daniel Gafford) kind of sharing, for the most part, those minutes with Lauri (Markkanen) playing in the five (center), you're going to have to possibly look at Cris (Felicio) as well in that group," Donovan said. Felicio has only appeared in two games this season but with WCJ out and Lauri being too small to defend centers, it might be good for the Bulls to utilize Felicio a bit more against teams that play two bigs.
Norman Powell (quad contusion) is listed as doubtful for Sunday vs the Orlando Magic.
Powell didn't play yesterday and after going through an individual practice this morning, he's likely to miss Sunday's meeting with the Magic. OG Anunoby (calf) has already been ruled out so Terence Davis could be in store for another start with Yuta Watanabe looking to build off his 12/6/2/2 outing also.
Raul Neto reaggravated his groin in practice on Saturday, according to Scott Brooks, and his status for Sunday's game is unknown at this point.
This is a tough blow for Neto who had just come back from a groin injury only to get hurt again in practice just like he did the first time. The good news for the Wizards is that Ish Smith (health and safety) is available to play on Sunday so they'll have some depth in the backcourt.
Nemanja Bjelica (back) is doubtful to play on Saturday vs. the Heat.
Bjelica will miss another game for the Kings which are currently exploring trade offers for the forward.
