Players News

Jrue Holiday was ruled out of Monday's game due to health and safety protocols.

Feb 08   9:59 PM

Hopefully this doesn't mean he'll be on the shelf for the next 10 days, but we'll have to wait and see what the Bucks say on Tuesday. Bryn Forbes started in his place tonight.

Miles Bridges had another big game off the bench on Monday, finishing with 19 points and 10 rebounds in the Hornets' 119-94 win over the Rockets.

Feb 08   9:59 PM

Bridges recorded his second straight double on Monday, hitting 8-of-12 shots and 2-of-5 threes in 29 minutes. He failed to get any assists or defensive stats, but he's been scoring and rebounding the ball well and has notched double-digit points in three of his last four contests now. He's still available in 50% of Yahoo leagues.

LeBron James is starting for the Lakers against the Thunder on Monday.

Feb 08   9:59 PM

To the surprise of no one. The Lakers just leave him on the injury report every night but with Anthony Davis sitting this one out, there was no chance Bron was going to miss this game.

Malik Monk had a solid night vs the Rockets on Monday, netting 14 points with four boards, five assists, two steals and two blocks.

Feb 08   9:59 PM

He played 26 minutes off the bench, making 6-of-11 field goals and two 3-pointers in the Hornets win. Monk scored eight of his 14 in the third quarter including a deep three right before the buzzer. He's played at least 23 minutes in six straight games and has scored in double figures in five of them. Part of that can be attributed to Terry Rozier missing a game and now Devonte' Graham. But Monk is making a case to be in the rotation even when Graham returns.

Danuel House played 30 minutes as a starter on Monday, scoring 13 points with three rebounds and two assists.

Feb 08   9:59 PM

House started for John Wall (rest) vs. the Hornets, making 5-of-11 shots and 2-of-7 threes. He's scored 12+ points in four of his last five contests and 12 made triples. He failed to get a steal tonight which ended a five-game streak with at least one, but it was still a productive night for the Rockets' small forward.

Jamal Murray (left knee soreness) is still a game-time decision but he looked good during warmups and should suit up, according to Harrison Wind.

Feb 08   9:01 PM

Murray went through his pregame warmup routine and after sitting out Saturday vs the Kings, it's likely that he'll suit up tonight vs the Bucks.

Facundo Compazzo (right knee) is available for the Nuggets on Monday.

Feb 08   9:01 PM

If Jamal Murray can't go Compazzo should be in the rotation behind Monte Morris tonight. Murray's injury isn't thought to be serious, so Compazza's not a guy to consider in season-long leagues right now.

E'Twaun Moore is starting for Chris Paul (hamstrring) on Monday.

Feb 08   8:45 PM

Moore could have a decent night so he could pay off if you rolled the dice on him in DFS when Paul was announced as a scratch. CP3 is day-to-day so there shouldn't be any long-term value here.

Alex Caruso will miss Monday's game against the Thunder due to a right hand strain.

Feb 08   8:29 PM

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Talen Horton-Tucker will both likely see an uptick in minutes tonight, while Caruso is day-to-day.

Cameron Payne (right foot sprain) won't play on Monday against the Cavaliers.

Feb 08   8:13 PM

This is Payne's eighth straight game on the sidelines because of the injury and it's unclear when he'll return.

James Johnson is available for Monday's game against the Timberwolves after dealing with a sore left knee recently.

Feb 08   8:13 PM

He's kind of fallen out of the rotation and hasn't played more than eight minutes in his previous three games. He may eventually return to having some fantasy relevance at some point, but he's not close right now.

Nassir Little won't play on Tuesday against the Magic due to a left knee sprain.

Feb 08   8:13 PM

Little hasn't played since February 1 with the injury. Rodney Hood and Carmelo Anthony will continue to enjoy extra opportunities with Little sidelined.

Karl-Anthony Towns (health and safety protocols) will not play on Monday night against the Mavericks.

Feb 08   8:13 PM

That should mean we get another exciting performance from Naz Reid, who had 29 points and five blocks on Saturday against the Warriors. KAT would appear to be nearing a return after a month off, but details have been sketchy and we're still not really sure when he'll be back on the court. Hopefully it will happen before the end of this week.

Raul Neto will play 18-to-20 minutes on Monday against the Bulls.

Feb 08   7:10 PM

Neto played 16 minutes in his first game back from a groin injury, scoring 10 points with two rebounds, two steals, and one assist. He'll play around the same on Monday despite Russell Westbrook resting the second game of a back-to-back. Ish Smith is likely to see a ton more time off the bench.

Chandler Hutchison will be out indefinitely for personal reasons.

Feb 08   6:46 PM

Hutchison has played just 11 minutes since returning from COVID-19 in mid-January. His absence won't change much for fantasy purposes.

Wayne Ellington (right calf) is being listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Nets.

Feb 08   6:20 PM

Ellington has missed the past two games for Detroit, which has resulted in Saddiq Bey moving into the starting unit, so it'll likely be more of the same if Ellington is out again tomorrow. Check back for another update following Tuesday's shootaround.

Moe Harkless won't play on Tuesday against the Knicks with a left thigh contusion.

Feb 08   6:20 PM

Harkless will miss his ninth straight game for the Heat. Max Strus and Andre Iguodala should fill in his role, but neither are worth rostering.

Jahlil Okafor won't play on Tuesday against the Nets.

Feb 08   6:20 PM

Okafor is out of the rotation, and his absence won't change much for fantasy managers.

Nerlens Noel won't play on Tuesday against the Heat due to knee soreness.

Feb 08   6:20 PM

Noel will miss his third straight game with the injury. Taj Gibson is likely to fill in his role but isn't worth rostering.

Frank Jackson (illness, non-COVID-related) is being listed as questionable for Tuesday's game vs. the Nets.

Feb 08   6:20 PM

He's not a large enough part of the rotation for his playing status to impact fantasy hoops.
