Reggie Perry (left groin soreness) played 13 minutes in Saturday's win over the Magic, tallying four points (2-of-3 FGs), three rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot.
Perry was nagged by a minor groin issue earlier this month, but he's played a total of 35 minutes in the Nets' last two games. He isn't enough of a factor to merit fantasy consideration, but with Brooklyn being short on bigs in the aftermath of the James Harden trade the rookie forward should play most nights. The wild card in this is Nicolas Claxton, who is getting closer to a return to action after missing time due to a knee injury.
Joe Harris shot 4-of-9 from three in Saturday’s win over Orlando, finishing with 17 points (6-of-11 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs) and five rebounds in 30 minutes.
Harris missed a little more time than he usually would in the fourth quarter, as he left the bench to get his left ankle re-taped during the inter-period break. But he looked no worse for the wear once back in the game, and the veteran shooter did not lack for clean looks Saturday night. Harris stands to benefit greatly in this new starting lineup, as opposing defenses will have to account for Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving (once he’s cleared to return). It would be wise to hold onto Harris, regardless of league format.
Jeff Green finished Saturday’s win over the Nets with 10 points (4-of-6 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), four rebounds and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes.
Given Brooklyn’s need for a capable perimeter shooter alongside their new trio of Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving, Joe Harris is likely to remain in the starting lineup once Irving (health and safety protocols) is cleared to return. That leaves Green as the odd man out, and his fantasy profile may actually improve with the second unit. While he isn’t a priority option in standard leagues, keep an eye on “Uncle Jeff.”
Marvin Bagley (left wrist soreness) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Pelicans.
Bagley is coming off one his better games of the season, though he put up most of his numbers in garbage time as the Kings were blown out by the Clippers. He'll likely go through shoot around Sunday morning before Sac decides if he's good to go. But Hassan Whiteside (left hip) is also questionable and if neither can go, Holmes will play a bunch and would be a great DFS play.
Cole Anthony had a solid floor game in Saturday’s loss to the Nets, posting a line of 16 points (6-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, eight assists, three steals, one blocked shot and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes.
With Markelle Fultz (knee) done for the season, Anthony has been thrust into the starting point guard role. While the rookie didn’t shoot the ball particularly well on Saturday, he only turned the ball over once in his 29 minutes on the court. After putting up six and five assists in his first two games, Anthony had not accounted for more than four in any game since. We're still waiting on the rookie to score in an efficient manner, but Anthony's assist-to-turnover ratio on Saturday should be applauded.
Terrence Ross played 32 minutes off the bench in Saturday’s loss to the Nets, posting a line of 23 points (9-of-17 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, three assists, one blocked shot and three 3-pointers.
Ross got off to a slow start in Brooklyn, but he was able to get going during the second half. He’s been on the receiving end of even more attention from opposing defenses, which was a factor in his recent struggles. In the four games prior to Saturday, Ross scored a total of 26 points on 10-of-38 shooting from the field (1-of-13 3-pointers). He bounced back on Saturday, and we’ll see if he can build on this effort Monday when the Magic visit the Knicks. Given Orlando’s lack of consistent scorers outside of Nikola Vucevic, Ross is a must-play regardless of league format.
Aaron Gordon missed all six of his 3-point attempts in Saturday’s loss to the Nets, tallying 11 points (4-of-11 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, six assists and two steals in 31 minutes.
Gordon has never been a knockdown shooter from deep, so Saturday’s showing doesn’t come as a surprise. But he did enter the game shooting a career-high 38.3% with an average of 1.6 3-pointers per, so he is making strides. In the two games prior, Gordon shot a combined 6-of-9. The absences of Markelle Fultz (knee; out for season) and Evan Fournier (back) have given him even more opportunities to serve as a playmaker for the Magic, but that hasn’t increased Gordon fantasy value. He is providing 13th-round value in 9-cat formats, and 12th-round value in 8-cat.
DeMar DeRozan hit just 9-of-25 shots and 6-of-6 free throws for 24 points, four assists, seven rebounds, two steals and one block with three turnovers in a win over the Rockets on Saturday.
DeRozan didn't shoot well, needing 25 shots to score 24 points, but he did a bit of everything to keep San Antonio ahead against a short-handed Rockets team. His two steals and block were an added bonus for fantasy managers. DeRozan ranks No. 37 in 9-cat leagues, and will continue to lead the young Spurs backcourt.
Joe Harris walked back to the Nets locker room after appearing to tweak his left ankle.
Harris suffered the injury while defending Terrence Ross, and after spending some time standing behind the Nets huddle in between quarters he walked back to the locker room. We'll have an update once more information becomes available.
Killian Tillie (right hamstring strain) is available to play in Saturday's game against the 76ers.
Tillie, who has yet to appear in an official game this season, isn't worth rostering in any league. Regardless of format.
Danilo Gallinari is doubtful to play on Monday against the Timberwolves.
This was the two-week mark for re-evaluation, and per the Hawks, Galllinari “has progressed to half-court individual workouts and will now be re-introduced to contact activity.” If he's already been upgraded from out to doubtful, it seems like he isn't too far away from returning. Atlanta needs him with Bogdan Bogdanovic out for extended time.
Gabe Vincent (knee) is available to play in Saturday's game against the Pistons.
Vincent played very well in the Heat's two games against the 76ers earlier this week, but that was with Miami's roster still being depleted due to health and safety protocols. Many of the players whose minutes he was absorbing, most notably Goran Dragic, have been cleared to play Saturday night. Fantasy managers who can afford to do so may want to hang onto Vincent for one more game just to be safe, but his fantasy value will take a major hit.
Killian Tillie (right hamstring strain) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the 76ers.
Tillie isn't expected to be a rotation player once cleared, so his status upgrade won't have an impact fantasy-wise. Leave him on the waiver wire.
Otto Porter (back spasms) and Garrett Temple (right ankle sprain) are listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Mavericks.
Both played rotation minutes in Friday's overtime loss to the Thunder, with Porter getting 25 and Temple 20. Look for both veterans to take on similar workloads Sunday, with Porter being the more valuable of the two fantasy-wise. That being said, there's no reason to roster either in standard leagues.
Carsen Edwards and Robert Williams are both out for Sunday's game against the Knicks due to medical protocol.
The Celtics are expected to still be short-handed for Sunday, with Jayson Tatum also confirmed to be out. Daniel Theis and Tacko Fall are questionable to play, too. The good news is that for the first time, Kemba Walker has been upgraded to questionable to play. Expect big minutes for Jaylen Brown and Grant Williams, with point guard minutes still in question until Walker's status becomes clearer.
Tacko Fall (left ankle sprain) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Knicks.
With the Celtics steadily getting back players who were higher up in the rotation than Fall, the fan favorite's fantasy value has taken a major hit. He shouldn't be rostered in standard leagues right now.
Daniel Theis (middle finger sprain) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Knicks.
Theis came off the bench in Friday's pasting of the Magic, and he could be back in the starting lineup Sunday afternoon if the finger checks out. He doesn't offer much in the way of fantasy value, however, so he's a deep league option at best.
Mo Harkless is available to play on Saturday against the Pistons on Saturday after clearing protocol.
Harkless has hardly played this season, but Miami may need him to fill in minutes on Saturday with Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, Avery Bradley and Meyers Leonard all missing. He isn't worth picking up in most leagues.
Kendrick Nunn (health and safety protocols) is available to play in Saturday's game against the Pistons.
Under normal circumstances, Nunn's return would not be a big deal from a fantasy standpoint. However both Tyler Herro (neck spasms) and Jimmy Butler (health and safety protocols) have been ruled out for Saturday, so there will be a few more minutes available to Nunn. He's a worthwhile DFS play for Saturday, even if he comes off the bench.
KZ Okpala (health and safety protocols) is available to play in Saturday's game against the Pistons.
Okpala wasn't a great fantasy option when healthy, and that won't change now that he has returned to the active roster. Leave him on the waiver wire.
