Players News

Kostas Antetokounmpo (right knee tendinitis) ruled out for Tuesday vs. Houston.

Jan 11   8:02 PM

He's appeared in one game and played eight minutes in it, so there are no fantasy impacts with this news.

Damyean Dotson will come off the bench on Monday with Collin Sexton (ankle) back in the starting lineup.

Jan 11   7:14 PM

The Cavs will start Sexton, Isaac Okoro, Cedi Osman, Larry Nance Jr. and Andre Drummond tonight. Okoro is worth keeping a close eye on as his role has increased with injuries to the Cavs' backcourt.

Dorian Finney-Smith is likely out until at least January 15th due to contact tracing protocol.

Jan 11   6:34 PM

Finney-Smith has been sidelined since he was put on the medical protocol list on January 8th, and due to the NBA's rules, he'll likely be out until at least January 15th. Kristaps Porzingis was expected to return on Monday until that game was canceled, but expect him to have an added amount of scoring opportunities when the Mavs do play.

T.J. McConnell (personal) has been ruled out for Monday's game vs. the Kings.

Jan 11   6:34 PM

He's taking some time away from the team to be there for the birth of his child, which will result in some more minutes for Aaron Holiday.

Raul Neto will start for injured Russell Westbrook on Monday and probably the rest of this week, as Westbrook's injury is expected to keep him out all week.

Jan 11   6:34 PM

Neto's been a bit hit or miss as a starter, posting one monster line and a few duds. He's intriguing without Westy and should make for a safe fantasy play throughout Week 4 in fantasy hoops.

Cameron Payne (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game vs. the Wizards.

Jan 11   6:34 PM

He was being listed as doubtful and now we have official confirmation that he'll be out. Jevon Carter might be able to pick up a few extra minutes tonight, but that doesn't mean much with Chris Paul and Devin Booker healthy.

Josh Richardson is likely to be sidelined until Jan. 15 due to health and safety protocols.

Jan 11   6:34 PM

Richardson was first added to the medical protocol list on January 8th, and due to NBA rule, he's likely to be sidelined until the 15th, along with Dorian Finney-Smith and Jalen Brunson. Without them, Tim Hardaway Jr. should continue to play a big role in Dallas's offense when the Mavericks get back to playing. Their game against the Pelicans on Monday was postponed, and it might not be the only Dallas game moved this week.

James Ennis (hamstring) will start for the Magic on Monday.

Jan 11   6:34 PM

He went from out, to questionable to starting over the last couple hours. He'll be joined in the lineup by Aaron Gordon, Nikola Vucevic, Dwayne Bacon and Cole Anthony in a tough matchup with the Bucks.

Terrance Ferguson (personal) will not play on Monday vs. the Hawks.

Jan 11   6:05 PM

Ferguson is being listed as out for "personal" reasons and not "health and safety protocols," so maybe he'll be able to get back out there for Tuesday's game vs. Miami (if that game doesn't get postponed). That said, even when he's logging significant minutes, Ferguson rarely brings any meaningful statistics to the box score.

Tobias Harris won't play on Monday against the Hawks due to health and safety protocols.

Jan 11   6:05 PM

The Sixers will be without a ton of their roster again due to medical protocols on Monday, including Shake Milton, Seth Curry, Matisse Thybulle, and Vincent Poirier. Ben Simmons and Furkan Korkmaz are also out due to injury, and Terrance Ferguson is out due to personal reasons. Without Harris, Mike Scott could see a healthy amount of play-time if he's able to fight through a knee contusion. Harris will miss at least one week of play since he entered quarantine on January 9th.

Matisse Thybulle (health and safety protocols) has been ruled out vs. the Hawks on Monday.

Jan 11   6:05 PM

The Sixers are down eight players for this game so coach Doc Rivers will be running an extremely tight rotation by necessity. DFS potential abounds for guys like Tyrese Maxey, Danny Green, and of course usage monster Joel Embiid.

Furkan Korkmaz (groin) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup with the Hawks.

Jan 11   6:05 PM

The 76ers could use him with half their roster in quarantine, but he's still not ready due to the groin injury. Tyrese Maxey looks like a solid streamer or DFS target again.

Eric Gordon (left lower leg tightness) is questionable for Tuesday's game vs. the Lakers.

Jan 11   6:05 PM

John Wall is also questionable due to a migraine headache, so Houston's backcourt could be thinned out if one or both veterans can't suit up. Gordon's minutes are way down the past two games and he's not typically an efficient fantasy play, even at full strength, so give long consideration to cutting him for a healthy free agent.

Tony Snell (right foot) is expected to play limited minutes on Monday.

Jan 11   6:05 PM

He's looking at a cap of 15 minutes meaning there's no reason to deploy in him fantasy.

Vincent Poirier won't play on Monday against the Hawks due to medical protocol.

Jan 11   6:05 PM

The Sixers will be without the bulk of their roster due to COVID-19 protocol and injuries on Monday. Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey could be in for monster games. Quarantined players are expected to be sidelined for at least a week, so expect much of the same until January 16.

Jalen Brunson (COVID-protocol) not expected to be cleared until Sunday, at the earliest.

Jan 11   6:05 PM

The Mavs Monday game has already been postponed, and they may need to postpone more if they're not able to field enough players, but Brunson is going to be required to quarantine for a week — meaning the earliest he could be cleared would be Sunday vs. the Bulls.

Kevin Huerter (left ankle) will play on Monday night.

Jan 11   6:05 PM

Both Huerter and Cam Reddish get a boost from the absence of Bogdan Bogdanovic and both players are worth grabbing in many leagues, with Reddish being the preferred target.

Bruno Fernando (hip) is available to play for the Hawks on Monday.

Jan 11   6:05 PM

He's not a fantasy option as long as Clint Capela is healthy.

Udonis Haslem (COVID-protocol) will not be available for Tuesday's game vs. the 76ers.

Jan 11   5:45 PM

He might have been able to make his season debut tomorrow with how many players Miami will be missing, but contact tracing will keep him on the inactive list. Kelly Olynyk could be forced to flirt with 40 minutes tomorrow night, which would put him on the DFS radar.

John Konchar (ankle), Killian Tillie (hamstring), Jontay Porter (knee) and Justise Winslow (hip) will not play on Monday vs. the Cavs.

Jan 11   5:45 PM

This will be the fourth straight game on the sidelines for Konchar, while the rest of the guys have yet to make their regular-season debut. Konchar's absence will open up some more opportunities for Desmond Bane and De'Anthony Melton.
