Javonte Green (health and safety protocols) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Heat.
Green isn't a viable fantasy option regardless of league format, so his absence won't have an impact in that regard. Leave him on the waiver wire.
Semi Ojeleye (health and safety protocols) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Heat.
While Ojeleye has worked his way into the rotation, he isn't a must-have in standard leagues. Depending upon when he's cleared to play, and who else may have to sit, there could be some value to be had in deeper leagues down the line.
Meyers Leonard (left shoulder strain) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Celtics.
Leonard injured his shoulder late in Saturday's win over the Wizards, so it would be a bit of a surprise if he played on Sunday. Kelly Olynyk and Precious Achiuwa are both ahead of him in the pecking order at center, so there was no need to roster Leonard even before the injury.
Kelly Olynyk (left groin contusion) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Celtics.
Olynyk started and played 32 minutes in Saturday's win over the Wizards. Should he not be able to play in the second game of the back-to-back, Precious Achiuwa would have the most to gain from a fantasy standpoint. Moe Harkless could also move back into the rotation after picking up a DNP-CD Saturday night. Pick up Achiuwa if he's still available.
Gabe Vincent (right knee soreness) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Celtics.
Vincent has been listed as "probable" for quite some time now, so nothing has really changed on that front. He isn't a rotation player, so there's no need to roster him in any league.
Ben McLemore (right ankle sprain) is available to play in Sunday's game against the Lakers.
McLemore injured his ankle during Friday's game against the Magic, a game in which he shot 5-of-5 from beyond the arc. He'll help fill the void left by Danuel House, who has been ruled out due to back spasms. McLemore is a decent points and 3-pointers option in deeper leagues, but that's his fantasy ceiling right now.
Jared Dudley (right calf soreness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rockets.
There was no reason to roster Dudley when he was healthy, so Sunday's news changes nothing from a fantasy standpoint.
Avery Bradley (health and safety protocols) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Heat.
This is an interesting development, as Bradley played 19 minutes in Saturday's win over the Wizards. How much time he will have to miss hasn't been determined, but Bradley doesn't offer enough in the way of fantasy value to justify hanging onto him. That being said, his absence may open the door for Kendrick Nunn to get back into the rotation.
Hawks coach Lloyd Pierce said on Sunday that Onyeka Okongwu (left foot inflammation) could be available to play within the next week or so.
Okongwu, who was Atlanta's first-round pick in the draft, has yet to appear in a game due to his foot injury. While both he and Tony Snell (right foot) have made steady progress in their respective recoveries, neither is ready for game action just yet. Given the amount of time that he's missed, Okongwu is highly unlikely to be an impact fantasy option once cleared to play in games.
Wesley Iwundu failed to score in 32 minutes Saturday vs. Orlando, shooting 0-of-2 from the field while accounting for six rebounds, one assist and two steals.
With Dorian Finney-Smith and Josh Richardson both sidelined due to the league's health and safety protocols, there were a few more minutes available to Iwundu on Saturday. He should remain in the rotation for as long as Finney-Smith and Richardson are out, but that isn't enough to make Iwundu a player worth rostering in standard leagues. In extremely deep leagues however, he may be worth a look in the short-term.
Jordan Nwora was a DNP-CD for Saturday's win over the Cavaliers.
Two games after scoring a career-high 11 points in a win over the Pistons, Nwora didn't get off the bench Saturday night. The return of Pat Connaughton had a lot to do with that. Nwora wasn't a worthwhile fantasy option when he was playing, so nothing changes on that front.
Ed Davis did not play during Saturday's overtime loss to the Spurs.
Davis wasn't a viable fantasy option when Karl-Anthony Towns was out with a dislocated left wrist, and he isn't now that KAT is back.
Bruno Fernando (left hip soreness) did not play in Saturday's loss to the Hornets.
Fernando was made available for Saturday's game, but he ultimately did not play. He isn't worth rostering right now, regardless of league format.
Solomon Hill shot 3-of-5 from three in Saturday's loss to the Hornets, posting a line of nine points, three rebounds, three assists, three steals and one blocked shot in 20 minutes.
This qualifies as a good line for Hill, especially when taking the assists and steals into account. However, this is unlikely to become commonplace for the veteran forward. Tony Snell (DNP-CD) is close to making his return, and Hill also has to compete for minutes with the likes of Cam Reddish and Kevin Huerter. Hill's value depends upon how healthy the Hawks are on the wing; if everyone's available, he should be left on the waiver wire.
Tony Snell (right foot) did not play in Saturday's loss to the Hornets.
Snell, who missed time due to both inflammation in his right foot and (before that) a case of COVID-19, was available for the first time all season Saturday night. But his name wasn't called by coach Lloyd Pierce. Depending upon what happens with Bogdan Bogdanovic (right knee) there could be minutes available to Snell in the near future, but the Hawks still have a bit of a logjam on the wings. Leave Snell on the waiver wire for now.
Mo Bamba (mild back strain) did not play in Saturday's loss to the Mavericks.
Bamba was made available just before tipoff, but he did not see any action even with the game being a blowout. There isn't much reasons to hold onto him, as Khem Birch has laid claim to the backup center job.
Cole Anthony (right quad contusion) started Saturday's loss to the Mavericks and played 32 minutes, finishing with eight points (2-of-8 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer.
Having to go up against a point guard as talented as Luka Doncic on a regular night isn't easy, much less in the second game of a back-to-back. Anthony struggled offensively, shooting just 25% from the field and accounting for just three assists. But given the state of the point guard position in Orlando, there's no reason to panic and drop the rookie. With Markelle Fultz (knee) out for the season and Michael Carter-Williams still recovering from a foot injury, the starting job will Anthony's so long as he remains healthy.
Luka Doncic made 7-of-20 field goal attempts and three triples on Saturday, recording 20 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and two blocks in the Mavs win.
While Doncic filled up the stat sheet against the Magic, it was his teammate Tim Hardaway Jr. who stole the show with 36 points and eight 3-pointers. Luka is having a good season, but his 21% perimeter shooting on seven attempts per game is nothing short of terrible. It's really the only thing he needs to get better at on offense, as the points and assists pile up night in and night out.
Jusuf Nurkic played 23 minutes in Saturday’s win over the Kings, tallying 10 points (4-of-8 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), eight rebounds, five assists, three steals and one blocked shot.
While this wasn’t the best line for Nurkic, he managed to do a little bit of everything as the Trail Blazers rolled on the road. And after a slow start to the season, he appears to be headed in the right direction. Over the last week, Nurkic ranks just outside of the top-100 in both 8- and 9-cat formats. Fantasy managers who find themselves besieged by trade offers for Nurkic would be wise to hold off on moving him.
Enes Kanter accounted for 11 points (4-of-9 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs) and 14 rebounds in 19 minutes in Saturday's win over the Kings.
Bringing Kanter back to Portland has proven to be an excellent move by Neil Olshey thus far, as the backup center has posted four double-doubles in nine games. As for Kanter’s fantasy value, he has been a top-100 player in 9-cat and just outside of that threshold in 8-cat. Over the last week, he’s providing top-50 value in 9-cat. Kanter is currently rostered in 44% of Yahoo leagues, and those in need of rebounding help would be wise to pick him up even though he’s a backup.
