Jeff Green played a season-high 37 minutes on Monday, scoring 14 points on 5-of-6 shooting with four 3-pointers in the Nets win.

Jan 18   10:52 PM

Green was getting open looks from distance vs the Bucks and he made them pay, making a season-best four triples in the win. He's now made 10 3-pointers over the last four games and has hit 16-of-23 field goals attempts, too. And though he's looked good the past few games, he doesn't provide much outside of scoring and threes to make him a must-add player at the moment. There's better waiver option in standard leagues and perhaps deep leagues as well.

Delon Wright started on Monday but hit just 1-of-4 shots for two points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals in 21 minutes.

Jan 18   10:52 PM

Derrick Rose had 21 points and four assists off the bench and it looks like Wright is going to need him to join Killian Hayes on the sidelines in order to succeed. Wright did almost all of his damage in the first half and was invisible as the Heat overcame a 19-point deficit to come back and get the W. Wright has been one of the most frustrating players to roster in fantasy this season and if he's not already on the waiver wire, he might be heading that way after this stinker. And you can expect him to blow up for a nice one-game stat line when it happens, because that's how he rolls.

Mason Plumlee hit 7-of-10 shots for a season-high 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals in 35 minutes of Monday's loss to the Heat.

Jan 18   10:52 PM

Plumlee is quietly an effective starting fantasy center and is returning seventh-round value on the season. If he's sitting on your league's waiver wire, he probably shouldn't be.

Luka Doncic hit 4-of-11 shots, missed all three of his 3-pointers and hit 7-of-8 free throws on his way to 15 points, seven rebounds, nine assists and three turnovers in Monday's 116-93 loss to the Raptors.

Jan 18   10:29 PM

Luka had a ridiculous 36/16/15 triple-double on Sunday but neither him or the Mavs could get much going tonight. The Mavs are in the midst of their first three-game losing streak since the 2018-19 season and have to go to Indy for the Pacers on Wednesday and then play at San Antonio on Friday.

James Johnson came off the bench for 15 points, six rebounds, two assists, a block and two 3-pointers on 6-of-11 shooting Monday.

Jan 18   10:29 PM

He's been flourishing with Dorian Finney-Smith in health protocols and has scored in double figures in four of his last five games. He's getting some blocks, steals and 3-pointers as well, making him an intriguing player to think about adding to your roster. Hopefully he doesn't fade away when DFS is back in action.

Trey Burke hit 5-of-11 shots and two 3-pointers for 17 points, three assists and two steals on Monday.

Jan 18   10:29 PM

He hit 5-of-5 free throws and didn't commit a turnover in his second best game of the season. Burke has been hit-or-miss all year and has alternated good games with duds over his last six. Maybe tonight was the start of a more consistent streak from the Mavs' guard.

Kyle Lowry hit 9-of-12 shots and three 3-pointers for 23 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and a block in 35 minutes of Monday's easy win over the Mavericks.

Jan 18   10:29 PM

The Raptors have been playing in very tight games with their previous five being decided by three points or fewer, so they enjoyed a relaxing end to tonight's easy win. The Mavericks are having issues with defense and Lowry made them pay tonight with a highly efficient game.

Kristaps Porzingis played in the second game of a back-to-back on Monday and had 23 points, nine rebounds, two blocks and two 3-pointers on 8-of-14 shooting in an ugly loss to the Raptors.

Jan 18   10:13 PM

Obviously, KP's knee is healing nicely and we weren't sure if he'd be playing in back-to-backs this season. Now that it looks like he will, his fantasy value is as strong as it's ever been. Congratulations if you rolled the dice on him on draft night The Mavs, who didn't have a three-game losing streak last season, now have their first one since the 2018-19 season. And things don't get any easier with a game at Indiana on Wednesday and at San Antonio on Friday.

Tim Hardaway returned to action after missing a game with a groin injury and missed all 12 of his shots, failing to score on MLK Day.

Jan 18   10:13 PM

THJ wasn't shy tonight, going 0-for-6 from downtown and finished with five rebounds, one assist and two turnovers. The good news is that he's back and looked healthy, with the bad news being that he may have already wrecked your field goal percentage for the week.

Jalen Brunson started for Dorian Finney-Smith (protocols) on Monday and hit 4-of-10 shots and three 3-pointers for 13 points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal in 27 minutes of a 116-93 loss to the Raptors.

Jan 18   10:13 PM

Brunson is worth a look for as long as DFS is out, while Trey Burke (17 points) should also see a boost until then. DFS should be back soon but wasn't ready to go on Monday.

Kyle Anderson hit 4-of-9 shots and 2-of-5 3-pointers for 10 points, two assists, eight rebounds, two steals, and one block with two turnovers in a win over the Suns.

Jan 18   8:39 PM

Anderson has been a defensive stats superstar in his last two games, totalling three blocks and four steals. He contributed a bit of everything on Monday, which has been status quo for him this season. The return of Morant will lessen the need for him to play-make, but Anderson will always find ways to contribute in the box score.

Dillon Brooks hit just 1-of-10 shots, 0-of-4 3-pointers, and 1-of-2 free throws for three points, three assists, two rebounds, and one turnover in a win over the Suns.

Jan 18   8:39 PM

Brooks had his worst shooting night of the year, missing 9-of-10 of his looks from the field, including all of his shots from deep. He's on a real cold streak right now, making just 9-of-30 shots (2-of-12 from 3-point) in the two games prior combined. Brooks is streaky, and there's no telling when this rut will end.

Elijah Hughes won't play on Tuesday due to a sprained left ankle.

Jan 18   8:39 PM

The rookie hasn't played more than eight minutes in any of his six games, so you may not even know he's gone.

Cam Johnson hit 4-of-9 shots and 2-of-5 3-pointers for 10 points, three assists, four rebounds, and one steal with two turnovers in a loss to the Grizzlies.

Jan 18   8:13 PM

In his first start of the season over Jae Crowder, Johnson had an OK night, sinking a pair of 3-pointers and logging a steal in 22 minutes. For managers hoping the start would mean a larger workload, that wasn't the case as he played a minute shy of his average and took the same amount of shots from the field as usual. Crowder posted five points, five assists, two rebounds, and two steals in 26 minutes. Monitor the Johnson-Crowder situation going forward, but it might not matter which of the two starts.

Joe Ingles is questionable for Tuesday's game with his lingering sore right achilles.

Jan 18   8:13 PM

It's been an issue for Ingles all season and he hasn't played since Jan. 10. If he's out again, Bojan Bodanovic should continue to put up fun fantasy numbers.

Derrick Favors (knee) is listed as probable for Tuesday's game.

Jan 18   8:13 PM

Favors has been dealing with a sore right knee for much of the season and hasn't been getting enough minutes to be rostered in normal sized leagues.

Garrett Temple is getting the start for the Bulls on Monday.

Jan 18   7:52 PM

Patrick Williams is out with a hip contusion so Temple, who scored 21 off the bench on Sunday, looks like a sneaky DFS flier on Monday night.

Frank Kaminsky hit 3-of-7 shots, 2-of-3 3-pointers, and 0-of-2 free throws for eight points, five rebounds, two blocks, and one turnover in a loss to the Grizzlies on Monday.

Jan 18   7:52 PM

With Jalen Smith, Dario Saric, and Damion Jones out due to medical protocol, Kaminsky saw extended run. He hit a pair of 3-pointers and played 13 minutes. Keep him on the wire for now, but he could be a plug-in option if Phoenix’s bigs stay sidelined.

Chris Paul hit 7-of-13 shots and 2-of-5 3-pointers for 16 points, seven assists, three rebounds, and three steals with six turnovers in a loss to the Grizzlies on Monday.

Jan 18   7:52 PM

Paul's three steals were a season-high, but for the third time in 12 games, he also didn't reach the free-throw line. It was a fine night for CP3, though the six turnovers sting. Paul is ranked No. 62 in 9-cat leagues, which is a steep drop-off from last season.

Derrick Jones Jr. contributed five points (2-of-4 FG, 1-of-3 FT), five rebounds, one assist, two steals and three swats across 30 minutes in Monday's blowout loss to the Spurs.

Jan 18   7:33 PM

It's not an amazing stat line, but the defensive numbers were nice and he didn't commit a single turnover while he was out there. DJJ did appear to tweak something in his right hand, but he played through it, so he should be fine for Wednesday's game vs. Memphis. Over the past two games sans Jusuf Nurkic (wrist), DJJ's minutes have spiked to 31.9 and he's been a sneaky late-round producer with averages of 7.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 1.5 swats and just 1.0 turnover per game on 43.8% shooting.
