Caris LeVert played 26 minutes off the bench in Tuesday’s comeback win over the Nuggets, accounting for 20 points (8-of-15 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), five rebounds, six assists and two 3-pointers.

Jan 12   11:21 PM

After starting Sunday’s loss to the Thunder alongside Kevin Durant, LeVert was back with the second unit Tuesday night. And he had another productive outing, extending his run of 20-point games to a career-high five straight. Brooklyn’s starting lineup, especially on the perimeter, appears to be a fluid situation with Kyrie Irving (personal reasons) away from the team. Whether he starts or comes off the bench, LeVert is a valuable fantasy option regardless of league format.

DeAndre Jordan did not play at all in Tuesday’s win over the Nuggets.

Jan 12   11:21 PM

Uh oh. Jordan’s minutes have decreased in each of Brooklyn’s last four games, dropping from 18 (Jan. 7 vs. Philadelphia) to 17 (Jan. 8 vs. Memphis) to 10 (Jan. 10 vs. Memphis) to zero. The good news is that there’s nowhere for Jordan to go but up after Tuesday’s DNP-CD, but that won’t be enough to get him back on the fantasy radar in any format. Fantasy managers who are still hanging onto Jordan, whose rostered percentage is 45% in Yahoo leagues, need to cut bait. These aren’t the “Lob City” days, sadly.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 14 points in 20 minutes on Tuesday, making 5-of-9 shots and four 3-pointers in the Lakers win.

Jan 12   11:03 PM

KCP recorded a season-high three steals against the Rockets and matched his highest scoring mark and three-point makes numbers as well. He's one of the team's best perimeter defenders and is a nightly candidate for triples and defensive stats. The guard also added three rebounds and an assist in the win and is rostered in 9% of Yahoo leagues.

Kyle Kuzma played 27 minutes in the Lakers win, notching his second double-double of the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Jan 12   11:03 PM

Kuz shot 4-of-6 and made one 3-pointer against the Rockets in an easy win for LA. He's scored at least 11 points in eight of the Lakers 12 games this season but has only scored 20 points once. He's certainly not a must-have player except in deep leagues. But should LeBron James or Anthony Davis ever take a night off, he's a solid streaming option.

Joe Harris shot 6-of-9 in Tuesday’s win over the Nuggets, accounting for 15 points, three rebounds, four assists, three steals and three 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

Jan 12   11:03 PM

Harris had an efficient night shooting the basketball, and he has now shot 50% or better from the field in six of the Nets’ seven games this month. The lone exception was Sunday’s loss to the Thunder, a game in which he shot 4-of-12 from the field. Over the last two weeks Harris has been a top-50 player in 9-cat formats (just outside of that threshold in 8-cat), exceeding his Yahoo ADP (132) by a significant margin. He should hover around that range all season long, but he’s rostered in just 67% of Yahoo leagues. Go pick him up if he’s still available.

Bruce Brown posted a stat line of 16 points (8-of-11 FGs), six rebounds, three assists and three blocks in 26 minutes Tuesday vs. Denver.

Jan 12   11:03 PM

Two days after going scoreless and playing just five points, Brown had his best game as a Net Tuesday night. In addition to shooting well over 50% from the field, he was also productive as a rebounder and defender, and Brown made some key plays down the stretch as well. And he received a glowing compliment from Kevin Durant, who also referred to him as a “true pro.” "Bruce Brown was incredible tonight,” Durant said. Brown is worth streaming, as the Nets are still unsure when Kyrie Irving (personal reasons) will return to the team.

Anthony Davis had a solid game on Tuesday, posting 19 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and five blocks in 29 minutes.

Jan 12   10:45 PM

The Lakers handled the Rockets 117-100 on Tuesday night, though they were up 30 at one point. Davis only took eight shots, which was a season low, but he made seven of them, including a 3-pointer, and all four of his free throws. The five blocks were a season high and after the game, Jared Dudley was advocating for AD as DPOY on Twitter (link below), and he makes a very good point.

Kelly Olynyk (left groin contusion) shot 6-of-12 from the field in Tuesday’s loss to the 76ers, finishing with 15 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and three 3-pointers in 46 minutes.

Jan 12   10:45 PM

With Bam Adebayo (health and safety protocols) and Meyers Leonard (left shoulder) both sidelined, Olynyk is getting all the minutes that he can handle right now. The Heat had just eight available players Tuesday night, and that could be the case for a couple more games. As a result Olynyk, who was already a solid play in deeper leagues, is now a must-have in standard formats.

Chris Silva played 17 minutes in Tuesday’s loss to the 76ers, tallying three points, eight rebounds and four assists before fouling out.

Jan 12   10:45 PM

Silva attempted just one shot from the field in the overtime defeat, but he was 3-of-4 from the foul line and contributed on the boards and as a passer. That being said, even with the Heat down to just eight available players he isn’t worth streaming right now.

Precious Achiuwa shot 7-of-10 from the field and 3-of-4 from the foul line in Tuesday’s loss to the 76ers, tallying 17 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and one blocked shot in 36 minutes.

Jan 12   10:45 PM

With Bam Adebayo (health and safety protocols) sidelined, Achiuwa has not only moved into the starting lineup but taken on an increased workload with it. If the rookie is still available, now would be a good time to grab him off of the waiver wire. Achiuwa is much more than an emergency streaming option right now.

Bojan Bogdanovic shot 6-of-10 from the floor on Tuesday, scoring 20 points with four 3-pointers, two rebounds and three assists in the win over the Cavs.

Jan 12   10:25 PM

It was good to see Bogdanovic bounce back after scoring just seven points on Sunday against the Pistons. He's been kind of inconsistent through first few weeks of the season as he has four 20-point games but six games under double-figures. Hopefully he can build off this game against the Hawks on Friday. Bojan is available in 30% of Yahoo leagues.

Jordon Clarkson stuffed the stat sheet on Tuesday, logging 21 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and five 3-pointers in the win over the Cavs.

Jan 12   10:25 PM

The Jazz blew out the Cavs and Clarkson was a big part of that. In just 28 minutes, he shot 8-of-14 from the field and 5-of-9 from distance, posting his third 20-point game of the season. He's logged double-digit scoring marks in all but one game and is one of the early candidate for Sixth Man of the Year. It might be a good time to package him and anther mid-to-late rounder for a star if you're looking for a major roster upgrade.

Mike Scott played 46 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Heat, accounting for 16 points (6-of-16 FGs), three rebounds, one assist and four 3-pointers.

Jan 12   10:25 PM

After playing 22 minutes in his first game back from an injury Monday night, Scott played 46 out of a possible 53 minutes against the Heat. Doc Rivers likely preferred to not have to do that, but given how shorthanded the 76ers currently are, he really didn’t have much of a choice. The good news is that Scott managed to get through those 46 minutes without any issues, so he should be good to go Thursday night when the two teams meet again. He’s worth streaming for the time being, but that will change once Tobias Harris (health and safety protocols) is cleared to return.

Tyrese Maxey posted a line of 16 points (7-of-18 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, eight assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes Tuesday vs. the Heat.

Jan 12   10:25 PM

With Seth Curry (health and safety protocols) still sidelined, Maxey remained in the starting lineup for Tuesday’s overtime victory. He didn’t shoot the ball particularly well, especially from three (1-of-6), but the rookie’s overall floor game continues to impress. Maxey’s best number: one, as in the number of turnovers that he committed. He’s a definite streaming option presently, and it will be difficult for Doc Rivers to keep Maxey out of the rotation once all the sidelined perimeter players are cleared to play.

Isaiah Joe shot 4-of-10 from three in Tuesday’s win over the Heat, tallying 13 points, five rebounds, one assist and two blocked shots in 37 minutes.

Jan 12   10:25 PM

Joe has now played 45, 28 and 37 minutes in each of Philadelphia’s last three games. His 3-point shooting ability was a big reason why the 76ers selected him in the second round of the NBA Draft, and the rookie out of Arkansas has had no issue firing them up. He’ll have more opportunities to do so on Thursday, so consider streaming Joe for that night’s slate.

Duncan Robinson shot 6-of-14 from three in Tuesday’s loss to the 76ers, scoring 26 points (8-of-18 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs) with two rebounds, one assist, one steal and one blocked shot in 46 minutes.

Jan 12   10:25 PM

The Heat were down to just eight available players, and Robinson led the way in minutes played. Primarily a points and 3-pointers option, the absences have given Robnison more room to produce in other areas. He should be rostered regardless of league format, and that will remain the case once the Heat are back to full strength.

Gabe Vincent played 36 minutes in Tuesday’s loss to the 76ers, tallying 24 points (9-of-20 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), two rebounds, three assists, two steals and four 3-pointers.

Jan 12   10:25 PM

What an effort for Vincent and the Heat, who had just eight players in uniform. Given the number of players who are sidelined due to the league’s health and safety protocols, Vincent shouldn’t lack for minutes in the near future. He's a worthwhile streaming option in all formats right now, which is not what anyone expected to say about Vincent before this season began.

JaVale McGee made his first start of the season on Tuesday, recording eight points, nine rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 21 minutes.

Jan 12   9:59 PM

McGee got the spot start with Andrew Drummond (bruised right achilles) out and had a solid game. He hit 4-of-8 from the floor, chipping in a few assists and swatting a couple shots. The Cavs don’t play again until Friday by which point Drummond should be good to go. But if not, McGee remains a streaming option and DFS play.

Isaiah Roby (hand) has returned to Tuesday's game against the Spurs.

Jan 12   9:59 PM

Roby played just five minutes in the first half due to the hand injury, but he was able to return during the third quarter. He isn't a player worth grabbing off of the waiver wire right now, but he's managed to work his way into the rotation.

Cedi Osman finished with 17 points, four rebounds, six assists and a block on Wednesday night against the Jazz.

Jan 12   9:59 PM

The Cavs were blown out by the Jazz without a few of their starters, but Osman still had a good game, hitting 7-of-15 shots and finishing as the team’s highest scorer. He did go 0-of-6 from deep and commit three turnovers, but he’s now scored in double-figures in all but four games this season and is averaging 11.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and two 3-pointers a night. He should be rostered in deep leagues and is a good streaming option in smaller ones.
