Frank Ntilikina was a healthy DNP-CD on Sunday despite being active to play.
Ntilikina was officially active to play in his first game since December 29th but was a healthy DNP-CD. Thibodeau’s clearly in no rush to get Ntilikina back on the court. Ntilikina's chance to stay in the regular rotation could be fading with Immanuel Quickley looking so good.
Robert Covington had yet another forgettable game on Sunday, scoring just four points on 1-of-7 shooting (2-of-2 FT) to go with three rebounds, two assists, two blocks and nothing else over 28 minutes.
Covington needs to be averaging at least 10 FGA per game, but he's only at 7.3 FGA through the first 15 games of the year, and that's become even more ridiculous with both Jusuf Nurkic (wrist) and C.J. McCollum (foot) on the sidelines. He bricked all six of his 3-point attempts tonight, and it's quite disconcerting that he's still being so passive on offense when Portland could really use him. As a side note, he did briefly exit today's game with a neck issue, but he played through it, so he should be fine for Monday's matchup with OKC.
Austin Rivers hit 1-of-3 shots (all 3-pointers) for three points, three assists, two rebounds, two steals, and two turnovers in a loss to the Blazers on Sunday.
Rivers (Achilles) returned for the first time in a week, and scored just three points, providing little else in the box score. The good news is he was able to play 29 minutes and assume his usual role. With Immanuel Quickley bursting out for 31 points, there were few shots left for Rivers to take, though. The pecking order for the Knicks' backcourt is always in flux.
Gary Trent Jr. scored 11 points on 4-of-10 shooting Sunday, to go with three 3-pointers and one turnover in 21 minutes off the bench.
It's not the most impressive stat line, but it was a solid bounce-back performance from Trent Jr. after he was held to just two points on 1-of-9 shooting his last time out. He's going to see plenty of opportunities while C.J. McCollum (foot) is out for at least the next four weeks, although his inconsistency may limit him to deep-league status. Rodney Hood got another start and finished with seven points, two rebounds, one assist, one 3-pointer, three steals and two turnovers in 27 minutes.
Enes Kanter hit 4-of-5 shots for eight points, eight rebounds, one assist, three blocks and one turnover through 24 minutes as a starter in Sunday's win over the Knicks.
Over the past three games as a starter for the Trail Blazers sans Jusuf Nurkic (wrist), Kanter has put in averages of 9.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.7 swats and just 0.7 turnovers per game on 59.1% shooting from the field in 26.4 minutes a night. He should be rostered in all leagues until Nurkic gets back. Harry Giles saw 19 minutes off the bench and finished with five points (2-of-7 FG, 1-of-1 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one block, and he continues to only see minutes in the teens despite Portland being without Nurkic, which isn't enough floor time for him to provide any meaningful value in standard formats.

Julius Randle hit 7-of-18 shots, 1-of-1 3-pointers, and 10-of-11 free throws for 25 points, five assists, seven rebounds, and two steals with five turnovers in a loss to the Blazers on Sunday.
The No. 45 player in 9-cat leagues had another strong night featuring a pair of steals to go along with 25 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Randle’s been awesome all year, and a big reason why the Knicks are a competitive group. His percentages have dipped recently, shooting below 39% in three of his last four games, but he's providing a ton of value rebounding and passing the ball. A year after placing outside the top-100, he appears to be a top-50 fantasy player for real.
Danilo Gallinari came through with 17 points, three 3-pointers, three rebounds, two assists and zero turnovers over 19 minutes on Sunday.
Gallinari looked a lot better today than he did in his return from the three-week layoff on Friday, and he replaced Onyeka Okongwu (who got the spot-start sans Clint Capela) in the first unit after halftime. The Hawks are going to be slowly ramping up The Rooster's minutes, but he should be able to flirt with top-50 value once he's fully up to speed, even if he's only looking at a 25-minute reserve role. He's currently only rostered in 66% of Yahoo! Leagues, so make sure he's not floating around on your waiver wire.
Jerome Robinson hit 6-of-15 shots, 3-of-10 3-pointers, and 1-of-1 free throws for 16 points, four assists, five rebounds, and one block with no turnovers in a loss to the Spurs.
With Rui Hachimura, Deni Avdija, Raul Neto and Davis Bertans all sidelined, Robinson got a rare start and found some success. His 16 points, five rebounds, and four assists were all season-highs, though it wasn't enough for the Wizards in a blowout loss to the Spurs. Robinson may be an OK DFS play until one of D.C.'s guards/wings returns.
Alex Len hit 4-of-6 shots, 1-of-2 3-pointers, and 2-of-4 free throws for 11 points, one assist, five rebounds, and one steal with two turnovers in a loss to the Spurs.
Len had an opportunity to play with so many Wizards (including Deni Avdija, Rui Hachimura, Davis Bertans, and Moe Wagner) out. In 21 minutes, he scored 11 points with five rebounds and sunk a 3-pointer. He isn't worth adding yet, but keep an eye on whether he remains a part of the rotation going forward.
John Collins drilled a career-high six triples on his way to 30 points (12-of-19 FG), seven rebounds, three assists and one turnover across 37 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Bucks.
Collins got things back on track today after being held to just four points on 2-of-8 shooting his last time out, but a major caveat, this solid performance came with Clint Capela (hand) watching from the sidelines. He’s been dreadfully inconsistent this season, and that might just be a trend with the Hawks having so many different guys they can go to on offense this year.
Cassius Winston hit 3-of-7 shots and 2-of-5 3-pointers for eight points, two assists, four rebounds, and one block with two turnovers in a loss to the Spurs on Sunday.
Winston only played two minutes in his first game with the team, so this was effectively his NBA debut. With Raul Neto out to a groin injury, Winston got to play 22 minutes off the bench and sunk a pair of 3-pointers. Monitor Winston's minutes going forward. The often-injured Wizards often leave opportunities for deep reserves.
Kevin Huerter's shooting slump continued on Sunday, as he hit 3-of-11 shots for eight points, two 3-pointers, two rebounds, two assists, two steals and one turnover in 29 minutes.
Huerter has had a tough time getting his shot to drop over the past two games, connecting on just 28% of his shot attempts, but at least he got some trey-balls to fall today after he went 0-of-3 from distance his last time out. Cam Reddish has been in a prolonged shooting funk this season, and he hit just 1-of-8 shots on Sunday for five points, four rebounds, one assist, two steals and one turnover in 28 minutes off the bench.
Onyeka Okongwu was on the floor for just 16 minutes in Sunday's spot-start, finishing with four points, two rebounds, one steal and three swats in a loss to the Bucks.
Okongwu did show some nice defensive fundamentals in his limited run today, recording a steal and a swat in his first two minutes of play, but he was replaced by Danilo Gallinari in the first unit after halftime. Clint Capela skipped today's game with a minor hand issue, but he'll likely be back by Tuesday, which will likely result in Okongwu returning to collecting DNP-CDs. He's got potential, but we don't expect to see much of him his rookie season while Capela and John Collins are healthy.
Brook Lopez failed to block a single shot over 26 minutes on Sunday.
This was the first time this season that BroLo failed to swat a single shot, but he did add 12 points (4-of-6 FG, 3-of-3 FT), three boards, one triple and a turnover while he was out there. This obviously wasn't a great game for him, but he has been posting mid-round value in 9-cat leagues since the calendar switched to 2021 with averages of 10.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.2 triples, 1.9 swats and just 0.7 turnovers per contest. We'd be surprised if he didn't swat some more shots on Wednesday vs. the Raptors.
Patty Mills hit 8-of-14 shots, 4-of-8 3-pointers, and 1-of-1 free throws for 21 points, three assists, four rebounds, one steal, and one block with one turnover in a win over the Wizards on Sunday.
Mills had a blip where he made just one 3-pointer out of 11 tries over his last two games, but he was back to usual on Sunday. On the season, he's shooting 41.9% from range and making 2.8 per night in just 26 minutes. Any managers in need of shooting and deep-ball shooting, look no further than Mills, who ranks No. 133 overall in 9-cat leagues.
Donte DiVincenzo contributed nine points, nine rebounds, five assists, one 3-pointer and two turnovers through 26 minutes in Sunday's win over the Hawks.
It would be nice if DiVincenzo saw his minutes in the 30s more frequently, but the constant blowouts Milwaukee has been involved in have resulted in him averaging just 25.4 minutes a game. Still, he’s been flirting with top-90 value on the season behind averages of 10.1 points, 2.1 triples, 2.5 dimes, 1.4 steals and just 1.2 turnovers per game on 44.5% shooting.
DeMar DeRozan hit 3-of-7 shots, 0-of-1 3-pointers, and 3-of-4 free throws for nine points, eight assists, three rebounds, and one steal with two turnovers in a win over the Wizards.
DeRozan finished with his third-lowest point total of the season, and aside from eight assists, didn't contribute much else. He spent much of the night in foul trouble, logging five in 27 minutes. DeRozan's put together a really nice fantasy season, ranking No. 30 in 9-cat leagues, but this was a night to forget.
Bobby Portis went 9-of-16 from the field and 2-of-2 from the stripe for 21 points, six rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer in 27 minutes off the bench on Sunday.
Portis was held to just four points in his previous two outings, but he surpassed that mark within his first four minutes of play today, and he had 13 points by halftime. He’s not the most exciting guy to roster, but if you need a cheap source of boards (8.7) with efficient scoring (10.5 points on 53.7% FG), Crazy Eyes is your guy.
Torrey Craig (nose) logged 13 minutes off the bench on Sunday, finishing with four points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal in a win over the Hawks.
This was Craig's first appearance since he broke his nose in December, but obviously, he's not worth a roster spot in almost any format.
